Hatem is a cross-border strategic and venture capital investor with deep experience in technology and sustainability. Prior to joining SIP Global Partners, he worked as Head of Venture Capital Investment at Riyadh Valley Company, the investment arm of King Saud University where he was responsible for sourcing, due diligence, investments, investor relations and driving value-add for portfolio companies in the private and public sector. In this position, he also managed a portfolio of 19 international venture capital investments in the areas of healthcare & life sciences, information & communication technology and sustainable resources for international companies based across the US, Europe, and Asia.

Upon completion of his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University in 2014, Hatem started his career with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund where he was responsible for due diligence and risk management for industrial project loans as well as managing a portfolio focused on sustainability and renewable energy.
